One hundred home cooks enter a vast kitchen arena. But in this kitchen, chance calls the shots.
At any moment, the Challenge Mixer will reveal the next test, from weeknight meals and party bites to holiday sweets or the best burger. The Cook Mixer then selects which competitors will step forward and take on the challenge. Nobody knows when they will compete, what they will be asked to do, how many cooks will join them, or how many could be sent home. Everyone must be ready for anything.
As the numbers dwindle, the stakes rise again. The Money Mixer arrives, adding cash to each challenge and giving its winner a difficult choice: take the money and walk away, or add it to the growing prize pot and back themselves to go all the way.
As 100 becomes 50, then just a few, the kitchen empties and the competition intensifies. In the end, only one cook will survive every challenge and every call of their number to emerge as the best home cook in the arena.
