It’s the kind of opinion you’d normally keep to yourself. Here, comedians have to say it out loud and convince a room full of strangers that they might actually have a point.
Two teams go head-to-head, armed with outrageous, unpopular, or simply ridiculous opinions that the whole team must defend. The studio audience votes before and after each hilarious debate, while a live swing-o-meter reveals exactly how many minds they have changed. The team that shifts opinion furthest wins the points.
But having an opinion is easy. Getting others to agree is much harder. Surprises throughout the game challenge the comedians’ convictions, forcing them to defend their arguments as the facts, the stakes, or even their own beliefs start pulling in the opposite direction. Meanwhile, the rival team does everything it can to turn a difficult argument into an impossible one.
