Warner Bros. International Television Production today announced that the Netherlands will be the first international home for First Dates Beach Club, produced by Warner Bros. International Television Production Netherlands and local network BNNVARA.

The latest evolution of the hit First Dates franchise, First Dates Beach Club builds on 16 successful Dutch seasons of the original format and promises to bring a fresh new romantic energy to audiences. Filming will begin this autumn, with the series set to air on NPO Start in 2027.

This sun-soaked new chapter trades the iconic restaurant for a vibrant beach club, complete with golden sands, ocean views, and endless summer atmosphere. Guided sensitively by the familiar and caring First Dates team — including beloved Dutch host Denise Dest and bartender Jeremy — singles will share cocktails, dinners, and unforgettable conversations as they get to know each other.

With more time to relax, connect, and explore chemistry, First Dates Beach Club opens the door to multiple dates and deeper emotional journeys, creating even greater opportunities for genuine romance to bloom. Combining the warmth, honesty, and charm audiences love about First Dates with an idyllic seaside setting, the series is a joyful reminder that love can arrive when you least expect it — and sometimes all it takes is a change of tide.

Andrew Zein, EVP Creative Format Development and Sales at WBITVP, said:First Dates remains both a must-watch dating show and a much-loved fixture not only on Dutch television but with viewers around the world. We’ve enjoyed a fantastic partnership with BNNVARA over many years and are now incredibly excited that Warner Bros. International Television Production Netherlands will expand the franchise with First Dates Beach Club. This warm-hearted series will bring viewers a fresh and uplifting new take on the format that we believe will delight loyal fans while welcoming entirely new audiences into the brand.”
